Meet Freddie and George — two lovable Staffies. But when someone needs help, they transform into Super Staffie and Ninja Sidekick. There to save the day in their own Staffie way!
A tale of friendship, bravery, and saving the day — the Staffie way!
Freddie and George are two lovable Staffordshire Bull Terriers who live with their favourite human, Vi. She spoils them rotten with bum scratches, head pats, and pockets full of treats.
But when someone needs help, these two ordinary Staffies become something extraordinary — Super Staffie, the brave caped hero, and his trusty Ninja Sidekick, always ready to leap into action!
Join them on their first adventure as they discover that the real superpower was inside them all along — a heart full of love and the courage to help others.
Written by Leisa and Andy Coles and beautifully illustrated by Sadiqa Akhter, this is a story for every child who knows that the best heroes come with four paws and a wagging tail.
The real-life Staffies who inspired the story
Freddie is 9 years old and our indestructible little tank. He loved George from the moment they met — though George wasn't so sure at first, especially after three months of Freddie crying through the night!
Nothing keeps Freddie down. Blades of grass in his eye, sliced pads on his paws, even cancer in his right leg (all clear now!) — he's taken it all in his stride. George is his world, followed by his dad Andy, then his mum Leisa. Although that order can change quickly if Leisa has cheese...

George is 11 years old. We collected him from a bad situation at just 6 weeks old — malnourished and so poorly the vets suspected parvo. It was the longest night of our lives, but thankfully it turned out to be severe infections, not parvo. He weighed just 2.3kg.
With medicated food, love, and many sleepless nights, he bounced back. After 18 months of treatments, tests and bespoke vaccines for his skin, George's biggest issue now is deciding which blanket he'll sleep under and which of his favourite toys to play with. He's our lovable giant — always on hand for playtime, kisses and cuddles.
